the staff make the store. this place was slammed when I went in there cuz everybody's trying to buy stuff before Colorados egregious infringements on our second amendment rights come into force August 1st but staff noticed when I came in, took me aside and explained what's what and got me taken care of. It still took forever but that was more situational and nothing to do with the service or the store. I'm only really leaving this with you because I'm impressed that they were able to notice when came in with that crowd or offer any help at the individual level especially because I got there pretty close to when they closed and had been dealing with that volume of traffic for the entire day already.

Used Iron Horse as an FFL receiving company. After meeting Payton at random, I knew I was in the right place for purchasing a new firearm. Not only did she go into detail about AR platforms and 9MM options, but she offered to meet me at a range to shoot!! Hard to find that kind of experience with any gun shop that doesn't have a range attached to it. Needless to say, I was taken care of and now bring all of my business to this store! Iron Horse is under new management and Mike is great! I've been a casual customer for years but never really spent much money there. However, I met the new owner and some of his guys at a local gun show this morning and I gladly bought a new gun with them! They are very friendly, helpful, and great to work with. If I am going to spend a rather large amount of money at your store, I want to enjoy my experience, and that certainly happed today! I've been to a lot of places for my firearms, and this hands  down has to be the best customer service that i've had.In the last seven years.  I have an extreme difficult name.And I have trouble from time to time with purchasing firearms, even though i'm a law biding citizen. I also shoot uspsa and I have had trouble getting the equipment.I need to be able to perform these matches. Iron horse has remedied all my issues.I have been able to successfully get all the equipment I need to perform for my matches because of them. I am always greeted with smiles,and they know me by name which brings personalization and a good since if belonging . This makes me feel welcomed and comforted every time i'm there. They have some of the best staff.They are very knowledgeable and willing to talk about any thing . I'm glad to make iron horse "my" new home for the equipment I need to perform . Thanks guys !! It’s always a wonderful experience every time I go. Brandon is super friendly and takes the time to connect with customers. Chris was super helpful and helped me with my build and even offered to take care of a rail install for less than half of what the other stores were quoting me for it. EDIT: After receiving a note from the owner, it sounds as if they are taking steps to rectify the situation. I appreciate the effort timely response to the issue. Because of this I am more than willing to get Iron Horse another go. I have purchased 5 or 6 firearms from Iron horse in the past. I went today to check pricing on a few firearms. Recently they re-arranged the store to block off the firearms (which I understand), my wife (who has also purchased a couple firearms as well) accidentally walked behind a counter in an area you used to have access to and was yelled at across the store.  This would not have happened if A) they had someone staffing the counter, or B) had a sign up for employee only. This was an honest mistake but the over reaction was grossly unprofessional. Iron Horse Armory had always been more expensive than other firearm shops, but I was fine to pay a bit more to support a local shop, but if this is how they want to treat customers, I will bring my business somewhere else.

Chris is AWESOME. He is extremely knowledgeable about everything I've questioned him about. He is the only reason I drive over an hour to Iron Horse. Iron horse has one of the best selections, and because of Chris' professionalism and knowledge I won't trust anyone else. Well I’m not one to normally give a review but I’ll make an exception on this one. I haven’t been in Iron Horse in quite a while and let me tell you I’m glad I did, I just got one of the best deals on a firearm in a long time. Chris and Bill were super helpful and chatty, ended up  making more purchases than anticipated after hanging out in the shop with those guys for like an hour. Can't recommend this place enough, they definitely know their stuff and are just happy to have someone to share all their knowledge with. Went in for the first time to pick up a couple of FFL transfers from a recent gun show and I dealt with Chris the GM. The pickup process was a breeze and after Chris and I were talking, I ended up purchasing 2 more firearms while I was there and he worked with me and got me a great deal on both. This place is amazing I love the Ar coming from  Seattle no ars no barrels under 16" to Colorado i mean wow. The staff was friendly the selection was insane. The young gentleman Answered all my questions believe me, there were a lot i also left a deposit on a beautiful AR10 with a suppressor. I will be doing a LOT OF BUSINESS HERE.
